How to identify my domain provider
Updated
There are several free websites that provide information on who owns your website’s domain name.
For steps to identify your domain name provider using Who.is, click here.
For steps to identify your domain name provider using ICANN Lookup, click here.
Using who.is:
- Go to this website: https://who.is/
- In the search box, enter your property’s website address, for example, www.myhotel.com or myhotel.com, then click the blue button
- In the resulting page, under Registrar Info, the name of your domain provider and their website address can be found
- In the section called Registrar Data, you can find the same information and further details about your domain registration
Question: Is my domain from BookingSuite?
- In the resulting page, if ‘Registrar Info’ is showing ENOM, INC. and ‘Registrar Data’ is redacted for privacy but State/Province is showing NH and Country NL, most likely the domain was provided by BookingSuite and you can take ownership of the domain name.
- If ‘Registrar Info’ is showing GoDaddy, LLC. and ‘Registrar Data’ is showing Registrant Organization: buuteeq inc, the domain was provided by BookingSuite and you can take ownership of the domain name.
- If ‘Registrar Info’ is showing Wild West Domains, LLC. and ‘Registrar Data’ is showing Reseller: BookingSuite, the domain was provided by BookingSuite and you can take ownership of the domain name.
Using ICANN Lookup:
1. Go to this website: https://lookup.icann.org/lookup
2. In the search box, enter your property’s website address, for example, www.myhotel.com or myhotel.com, then click the blue button

Question: Is my domain from BookingSuite?
- In the resulting page, if ‘Registrar Information’ is showing ‘ENOM, INC’. and ‘Registrant’ shows ‘Mailing Address: NH, NL’, most likely the domain name was provided by BookingSuite and you can take ownership of the domain name.
- If ‘Registrar Information’ shows ‘GoDaddy, LLC’ and ‘Registrant’ shows ‘Organization: buuteeq inc’, the domain was provided by BookingSuite and you can take ownership of the domain name. Sometimes the ‘Organization’ is blank but states ‘Mailing Address: Washington, United States’. In that case most likely the domain was provided by BookingSuite.
- If ‘Registrar Information’ is showing Wild West Domains, LLC and ‘Registrant’ is showing your name (or your property name) but ‘Billing’ is showing Booking.com, the domain was provided by BookingSuite and you can take ownership of the domain name.
