Your WebDirect BackOffice provides detailed information about visitors to your website. To see it, click on the ‘Analytics’ tab and locate the ‘Website visitors’ section.
Select the date range you want to see information for by clicking on the calendar icon in the top right. Choose a start and end date in the pop-up window, and you’ll see various information – this is described in more detail below. with you.
This is the number of peoplewhohave opened your website after searching online, clicking links on other websites or social media and so on.
The conversion rate is the percentage of your visitors who have clicked on the ‘Book Now’ button on your website. This is calculated by dividing the number of clicks on the ‘Book Now’ button by the total number of visits.
The bounce rate is the percentage of your visitors who left your website after only viewing one page. You should aim to keep your bounce rate as low as possible - click here to find out how to do this. To help you understand why your visitors ‘bounce’, take a look at ‘Top Bounce Sources’ – this is a list of websites that send visitors to your website who often bounce.
There are two kinds of visitors to your website:
New visitors areones who have not already visited during the last 30 days.
Returning visitors are ones who have already visited during the last 30 days.
Take a look at ‘Top Converting Sources’to see which websites and search terms have brought the most visitors to your website.
This is a list of the top five countries people visit your website from.
These are the top five languages people use in their web browsers when they visit your website. The languages are shown as codes – there’s an explanation of these codeshere.
Here you can see what percentage of your visitors access your website on a desktop computer or laptop, tablet or mobile device.
This is a breakdown of how your visitors found your website. You’ll see the names or domain names of specific websites they followed a link from, as well as the following other sources:
Direct: This means the visitor typed your domain name into their browser or they clicked on a bookmark or a link in an email.
Google/organic: These visitors found your website through a search engine such as Google or Bing.
Referral: This is traffic that is referred to you through another website. Visitors of a different website click on a link on that website and land on your website.
Social: 'Social' visitors accessed your website after clicking on a link on a social media platform like Facebook or Twitter.
