If you’ve decided you no longer want to use a certain domain name with WebDirect, you’ll need to update its DNS (domain name system) records.
In your domain provider’s control panel, your current DNS settings should currently look something like this:
A RECORD: 188.8.131.52
You’ll need to replace those with your domain provider’s standard records. Their control panel might give you the option to quickly reset to the standard records – if not, you’ll need to contact them to get the details you need.
Keep in mind that reversing the DNS settings might make your website go down – but it won’t cancel your WebDirect contract. If you want to do that, click here to find out how.
