Why do I need to authorise Facebook?

By authorising Facebook to connect to your WebDirect, your Business Facebook Page will automatically be equipped with a Book Now button, allowing your Facebook visitors to make direct reservations through your page.

If you already have a Business Facebook Page click on the blue 'Continue with Facebook' button under ‘Widgets’ in the Settings tab in your WebDirect BackOffice.

Then, log into your Facebook account by inserting your email and password.

Once you’re logged in you will have successfully connected your Facebook Business Page to your WebDirect.

You can test your new reservations channel by going to your Facebook Business Page and clicking on your “Book Now” button.

IMPORTANT: If you have several Facebook Business Pages it is possible that your WebDirect will connect to all of them simultaneously. We advise you to revise them one by one and disable the “Book Now” button from those accounts that do not belong to your property.

Please note, that your Facebook Business page needs to be set up in the category 'hotel & lodging', for the authorisation to work smoothly.
