How can I add a link to my website?

Here’s how to add a link to one of the custom pages on your WebDirect website:

  1. Log in to your WebDirect BackOffice
  2. Click on ‘Content’ and then on ‘Pages’
  3. Click on the ‘Edit’ button next to the page you want to add a link to.

  4. Highlight the part of the text that you want to link to another page.
  5. Click on the hyperlink icon on the black editing menu
  6. If you want to link to an external page, click on ‘External’, enter the URL of the page you want to link to and then click on the blue ‘Done’ button.
  7. If you want to link to another page on your website, click on the ‘Site Page’ option, choose the page you want to link to from the ‘Page’ drop-down menu and then click on the blue ‘Done’ button.
  8. Click on the blue ‘Save’ button in the bottom right-hand corner.
  9. The text you selected to link will now be blue. This shows you that a link has been added, and visitors to your website can click on the link to visit the page you chose to link to.

  10. Click on the ‘Preview’ button to check that the link is working properly on your page.
