How can I create a Promotions section?

You can display promotions on your WebDirect website by creating a dedicated section for them.

How do I create a Promotions section?

  1. Log in to your WebDirect BackOffice
  2. Click on ‘Content’ and then on ‘Pages’
  3. Click on the yellow ‘+ New page’ button in the top right-hand cornerScreen_Shot_2018-04-20_at_12.13.48.png
  4. In the ‘Select a page type’ section, click on ‘Promotion page’ and then click on ‘Create’

  5. Select the Promotion page layoutoption and click on Create

  6. On the page that loads, enter the title of your promotion and text to describe it. You can also add images.

  7.  Click on ‘Save


  8. Once you’ve done this, a new section called ‘Promotions’ will automatically appear in your website’s primary menu. To find it in your WebDirect BackOffice, click on ‘Content’ and then on ‘Pages’, ‘Primary menu’ and ‘Promotions’.

How do I rename my Promotions section?

Here’s how to rename your ‘Promotions’ section:

  1. Log in to your WebDirect BackOffice
  2. Click on ‘Content’ and then on ‘Pages’
  3. Click on the ‘Edit’ button next to ‘Promotions’ in your primary menu
  4. Click on ‘Rename’

  5. Choose the page title you want to use from the drop-down menu.
  6. Click on ‘Done’ to make your changes live on your website
