Meta titles are the titles of each page within your website. They’re one of the first things that search engines look for when compiling search results pages, so they’re key to getting new visitors to your website.
When someone makes a search on a search engine, the meta titles is the main bit of text that appears for each result. It looks like this:
In your WebDirect BackOffice, your meta titles (also referred to as Page Titles) will be automatically filled in by the system. However, if you’d like something more specific and customised, you can edit them yourself by following these steps:
Go to the ‘Content’ tab and click on ‘Pages’.
Find the page whose meta title you want to edit and click on ‘Edit’.
Then, click on ‘Advanced options’ and enter your new meta title.
Click ‘Save’ when you’re done.
